SAUL CARDENAS
Saul Cardenas, 49, entered our Lord's heavenly kingdom on October 7, 2025 at a hospital in San Antonio.
Saul Cardenas was born on Sept 1, 1976, in Laredo, Texas. He was a proud Martin High school Tiger class of "95". His love for music, especially conjunto music lead him to dedicated almost 30 years of his life as a promoter. Mr Cardenas was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.
Mr. Cardenas is preceded in death by in his father Geronimo Cardenas, and grandparents. Left to cherish his memories include his loving wife Mary Cardenas, his children Saul Cardenas Jr, Daughter Stacy Cardenas, his mother, Guillermina Cardenas, granddaughters, Athena Lee-Gale Rodriguez and Skarlett Rose Cardenas. Brothers Eddie (Cindy) Cardenas, Buchito Cardenas and sister Lupita Cardenas. Mr. Cardenas had many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave. Funeral Procession will be departing the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal Services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Saul Cardenas Jr., Eddie Cardenas, Buchito Cardenas, Eddie Cardenas Jr., Edie Cardenas, Andrew Michael Argaiz, Jr. Cardenas and Gustavo Peché.
