SIXTO HERRERA
Sixto Herrera, 77, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2019, in Laredo, Texas.
Mr. Herrera was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and was a long-life resident of Laredo, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Alberto and Clara Herrera.
Brothers, Alberto Herrera, Alfredo Herrera, Hector Herrera and Ismael Herrera.
Sisters, Ernestina Galindo and Guadalupe Vasquez.
He is survived by his loving wife, of 51 years of marriage, Maria Teresa "Terry" Herrera.
Sons, Alberto E. (Brenda) Herrera and Alfonso E. (Cheryl) Herrera.
Grandchildren, Amari Herrera and Liam Herrera.
Step-granddaughters, Destinee (Jagger) Sandoval and Angelica Navarro.
Brother, Juan Antonio (Concepcion) Herrera.
Sister-in-Law, Gloria C. Herrera.
Brother-in-Law, Ramon Vasquez.
Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 2, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 9 a.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2019. Holy mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Committal services and full military honors will follow at the Laredo, City Cemetery-Veterans Section.
