SOFIA DELGADO

Sofia Delgado, 97, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023.

Mrs. Delgado was born in Durango Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Rafael and Maria Sandoval.

Sons, Efrain Delgado and Ramon Delgado Jr.

Son-In-Law, Arturo Cruz

also by her Brothers and Sisters.

She is survived by her loving husband, of 70 years of marriage, Ramon Delgado.

Children, Rafael (Yolanda) Delgado, Raquel Cruz, Estela (Fernando) Martinez, Sofia (Carlos) Valle, Filomeno (Angela) Delgado, Sergio (Patricia) Delgado, Olga Delgado, Maria Carmen (Arturo) Ramirez and Leticia (Juan Pablo) Benavides.

41 grandchildren, numerous great grand children and great-great grandchildren.

Sisters, Cruz Aragon and Ventura Dominguez.

Also surviving are numerous other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Religious service, officiated by Pastor Jesus Benavides,  will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Funeral services will begin at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2023. Committal services will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers are: Hector Ramirez, Sergio Delgado, Pablo Ledezma, Fernando Martinez Jr., Rafa Delgado, Jaci Z. Valle, Beto Cruz and Pete Delgado.
