SYLVIA B. HALE Sylvia B. Hale, 64, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2011 at a local hospital. Mrs. Hale was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ramon and Olga Barreda. Sister, Cynthia Marie Barreda. She is survived by her husband, Salathiel Hale. Children, Melissa Hale and her husband, Manuel Ozornia, Salathiel (Claudia) Hale Jr., Donald (Cordelia) Hale and Judith (Humberto) Hinojosa. Grandchildren, Melissa (Rick) Martinez, Bonnie (Jorge) Hinojosa, Salathiel Carlos Hale, Derek Hale, Samantha Hale, Alexis Hale, Ivan Hale, Charlotte Hinojosa, Donald Hale Jr., Michael Hale and Kaitlyn Hale. 3 great-grandchildren. Brothers and Sister, Ramon (Hilda) Barreda Jr., Olga Lucia (Agustin) Alvarado Jr. and Ernesto Barreda. Also nephews, nieces, numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 7, 2011 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. in church. Following Holy Mass private committal services will take place. Funeral services are under the direction of the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave.
