TEOFILA DE LA ROSA Teofila De La Rosa, 98, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2012 at a local hospital. Mrs. De La Rosa was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a resident all of her life. She is survived by her Daughters, Maria Vedia, Maria Teresa Medeles and Josefina Paz. Sons-in-Law, Jose Medeles and Carlos Vedia. Grandsons, Paz, Medeles and Vedia. 14 grandchildren. Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 27, 2012 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Prayer service will also be held in the Hernandez, Lopez & Sons Southside Chapels,. Funeral services will begin at 9 a.m. with a chapel service officiated by Pastor Ezequiel Chapa in the funeral home chapel. Committal services and interment will immediately follow in the Laredo City Cemetery.
