TERESA MARTINEZ
Teresa Martinez, 87, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024.
Mrs. Martinez was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Uvaldo Martinez.
Daughter, Rosa Angelica Contreras.
Sons, Osvaldo Martinez, Carlos Javier Martinez and Alberico Martinez.
Parents, Miguel and Modesta Ramirez.
Sisters, Delfina Castillo and Maria Ramirez.
Brothers, Victor Ramirez and Nicolas Ramirez.
She is survived by her loving children, Rosa Treviño (Erick Hernandez), Martin E. (Veronica) Martinez, Victor M. (Albina) Martinez, Cleotilde Treviño (Sergio Lopez), Maura E. (David) Salazar, Anna Lisa (Juan) Flores, Roberto (Diana) Martinez, Amalia Villarreal, Teresa Gonzalez and Maria de Lourdes (Gustavo) Martinez.
Daughters in Law, Alicia Martinez and MArgie Martinez.
58 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Siblings, Felipe (Maria) Ramirez, Isabel (+Andres) Santana, Encarnacion (San Juana) Ramirez.
Mrs. Martinez's' family would like to extend a special "Thank You' to her caregivers, Margarita, Hortencia, Alejandra, Paulita and Ofelia, for the special attention and loving care they provided.The Family would also like to thank the staff at the Friendly Care Primary Service and Laredo Hospice for their professionalism and attention to Mrs. Martinez.
Also surviving her are numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, June 6, 2024 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Holy Mass was celebrated at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment followed at the Laredo City Cemetery.
PALLBEARERS WERE: Martin E. Martinez, Victor M. Martinez, Rosa A. Trevino, Cleotilde Trevino, Ana Liza Flores and Maura E. Salazar.
HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Roberto Martinez, Teresa Gonzalez, Amalia Villarreal and Maria De Lourdes Martinez.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hernandez , Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave.
