VERONICA GARCIA ALANIZ Veronica Garcia Alaniz, 32, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at a local hospital. Mrs. Garcia Alaniz was born in Laredo and had been a life long resident. She is survived by her loving husband, Sergio Alaniz. Children, Cynthia Veronica Garza and Sergio Enrique Alaniz. Parents, Esteban and Emilia Garcia. Brother, Esteban (Cherry) Garcia. Also surviving her are uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Prayer Service will be officiated at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Southside Chapel. A Chapel service will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2015. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
