VICTOR SALAZAR Mr. Victor Salazar, 83, passed away on January 19, 2014 in local hospital. Mr. Salazar was born in Burly, California and had been a resident of Laredo, Texas for sometime. He is preceded in death by his son, Jose Luis Salazar. Brothers, Antonio Salazar and Domingo Salazar. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years of marriage, Anastacia Salazar. Sons and Daughter, Victor (Lucia) Salazar, Jr., Gregoria (Samuel) Del Toro and Joel (Carmen Julia) Salazar. 7 grandchildren, Patricia Nunez, Victor Salazar, III., Samuel Del Toro, Jr., Joel Salazar, Jr., Nancy Rodriguez, Roberto Salazar, Jose Luis Salazar, Andrew Salazar and Irma Ele Salazar. 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchildren. Brother, Isaias Salazar. Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Religious Service will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. A chapel service will begin at 10:30 a.m. officiated by Pastor Everardo Cavazos. Committal services and interment will immediately follow in the Laredo City Cemetery.
