VICTORIANO CADENA

Victoriano Cadena, 90, of Laredo, Texas went home to Jesus on Saturday,
December 16, 2023.

He was born in Candela,Coahuila, Mexico. In 1958, he married Maria del Carmen Ayala who lived in Nuevo Laredo. They moved to
Laredo, Texas to start a life together. They had 5 children. They lived all their life in Laredo, Texas. Victoriano worked as electrician until his retirement age. He was hard-working man. He was avid gardener who enjoyed spending time in his garden as he made his flowers blossom. He loved to learn about home remedies to help the body heal naturally. He demonstrated his love and dedication to his family by placing them
first in his life. He was a strong-willed person that overcame life adversaries.

He was a widower as his wife, Maria del Carmen Cadena, died on May 3, 2019.

He is survived by his children, Ana Cadena, Lourdes Cadena, Jose Cadena,Minerva Cadena and Victor M. Cadena. Grandchildren Amanda Acosta, Alyssa Acosta, Albert Acosta, Victor Cadena III and Joseph Andrew Cadena. He was preceded in death by his siblings Ernesto Cadena, Juan Cadena, Maria de la Luz Rivas and Tomas Cadena.

Pallbearers will be: Jose Cadena, Victor Cadena, Joseph Andrew Cadena, Victor Cadena and Alberto Acosta.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, December 21, 2023 Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Av. Holy Mass was celebrated at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment followed at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS WERE: Jose Cadena, Victor M. Cadena, Vicor M. Cadena II, Joseph Andrew Cadena, Alberto Acosta and Jesus Alvarado.
