VICENTE L. BERNAL Vicente L. Bernal, 60 passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2012 in Austin, Texas Mr. Bernal was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a resident of Laredo most of his life until moving to be with his sister in Austin. Mr. Bernal is preceded in death by his brother Jose Luis Ledesma Jr., by his paternal grandparents Zerefino E. Ledesma and Josefina S. Ledesma. also by his maternal grandparents. He is survived by his daughters; Yolanda Linares of Laredo, Texas and Laura Chavez of San Antonio, Texas. His sons Vicente Bernal Jr. and Eduardo Bernal. His mother Virginia Bernal. Father: Vicente Ledesma Jr. His sister and caretaker Juanita Martinez Holm of Austin, Texas. His pride and joy and favorite niece Yolanda Martinez Holm. Also surviving him are numerous brothers and sisters, other relatives and many friends. . Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2012 with a Holy Mass celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
