YOLANDA J. GONZALEZ Yolanda J. Gonzalez, 53, went peacefully to see the Lord on Monday, September 12, 2011 at a local hospital. The Lord looked down and saw her pain. So, He gently took her by the hand and carried her to his paradise. She is now resting and stands next to Him in his kingdom with joy. Yolanda also joins her parents and in-laws in heaven; Juanita & Isabel Jasso, her in-laws, Refugia & Proceso Gonzalez, Jesus and Jorge Gonzalez. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 32 years of marriage, Jose R. Gonzalez, her son, Jose R. Gonzalez Jr. (Roxy), daughter, Margarita Gonzalez (Chico CUrry), Guadalupe and Yvonne Gonzalez, grandchildren, Jose R. III, John, Joel, Julianne and Josslyn. She is also survived by brothers and sisters; Isabel (Alicia) Jasso, Juanita (Gerard) Patterson, Jose (Ma. Elena) Jasso, Jorge Jasso, Hilda (Jesus) Herrera and Armando Jasso, her in-laws, Esperanza (Hope), Silvano, Sixto, Clemente (Petra), Rogelio and Daniel Gonzalez. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces. Special thanks to a dear friend of the family, Gustavo Ortegon for always being there for us. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2011 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, September 16, 2011 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
