Obituary

YOLANDA LUCIO HERNANDEZ Yolanda L. Hernandez, 46, joined Our Lord in His Heavenly Kingdom on Sunday, June 3rd with her family by her side. A devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister Yoli dedicated her life to serving others. She was always available to her family and friends finding joy in helping in whatever was needed. She loved the outdoors and the beauty of nature especially going to Gardner State Park, watching sports and spending time with her family. Yoli was active at Divine Mercy Catholic Church as a CCD Teacher, member of the "Daughters of Divine Mercy" and English Prayer Group. She was a committee member of the Martin High School Class of 1984. Yolanda was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Paulino and Juanita Lucio. Maternal grandmother, Inez Z. Alcorta. Maternal grandfather, Gonzalo Cantu. Uncle, Hector Mario Alcorta. Yolanda is survived by her loving husband of 23 years of marriage, Javier Hernandez. Sons, Javier Hernandez II and Joel Hernandez. Parents, Paulino and "Mona" Lucio. Brothers, Juan Gerardo (Leticia) Lucio and Paulino Lucio III. Parents-in-Law, Juan and Martha Hernandez. Nephews and Nieces, Paul Lucio IV, Joaquin Alejandro Lucio, Elizabeth Estrada, Eddie Estrada, Eric Estrada, John Anthony Hernandez, Joey Hernandez and Jonathan Hernandez. Brothers and Sisters-in-Law, Juan and Lourdes Hernandez, Veronica Hernandez and James and Stephanie Hernandez. Also numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., there will be a rosary given at 5:30 p.m. by the Catholic Daughters Court of St. Mary Magdaline #1989, a second rosary given by the Catholic Daughters of Divine Mercy will be held at 6:15 p.m. and the Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 departing from the funeral home chapel. A Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church located at 9350 Amber Ave. Committal service and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
