YOLANDA P. LEYVA
Yolanda P. Leyva, 92, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2017, in Laredo, Texas.
Mrs. Leyva was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Abelardo Leyva.
Children, Abelardo Leyva Jr., Oscar Leyva, Jose Luis Leyva and Ana Laura Leyva.
She is survived by her children, Gloria Garcia, Maria (Juan) Zapata, Arturo (Carmela) Leyva, Hector (Lucy) Leyva, Bertha (Juan) Vasquez, Erasmo Leyva and Carlos Leyva.
Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons East Chapel, 4500 Thomas Ave.
Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 25, 2017 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at San Jose Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow in the Laredo City Cemetery.
