YOLANDA A. RAMIREZ
On Wednesday, January 15, 2025, our Heavenly Father reunited our beloved mother, Yolanda Ramirez, and our beloved father, Joaquin Ramirez Jr., in heaven. She left her earthly home while surrounded by her loving family. After months of battling health issues, she is now at peace. She leaves behind an enduring legacy of love, strength and selflessness.
Yolanda was first and foremost a loving daughter, always dedicated to her family, especially her father, whom she lovingly cared for many years. She balanced her devotion to him with the responsibilities of being a devoted wife and mother, always putting her family's needs ahead of her own. Her unconditional love and nurturing spirit were the foundation of her life, and she built a home filled with love, laughter and endless support.
Throughout her life, Yolanda worked tirelessly in various roles, always bringing her heart to every job she undertook. She began her career at Lane's downtown where she formed longtime friendships. She later went on to work at Our Lady of Guadalupe, where she assisted Sister Bernadette in a Title 1 program.
For 18 years, Yolanda worked at Rodriguez Pharmacy where she continued to foster friendships. Her vivacious spirit and willingness to lend an ear made her a beloved figure and her hard work and dedication earned her the respect of everyone who knew her.
While Yolanda may no longer be with us physically, her spirit lives on in the love she gave so freely. Her life was a testament to the power of kindness, sacrifice and devotion and she will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Yolanda is survived by her children, Sandra Ramirez and Sylvia (Martin) Montes, her grandchildren, Alyssandra Nevaeh and Amanda Jude Montes, her brother, Antonio (Margie) Arzola Jr. and brother-in-law, Anastacio Bernal (Olivia+). As well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. We will carry forward her memory and honor her legacy. A mother's love is a treasure that never fades and though she may have left this world, Yolanda's love will continue to guide and comfort us in the days to come.
May she rest in peace alongside her husband, Joaquin, her parents, Antonio and Guadalupe Arzola, her siblings, Gloria Arzola, Olivia Bernal, Delia Ramos and Rene Arzola as well as her brother in law, Andres Manuel Ramos.
Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.
