ZEFERINA R. HERNANDEZ
Zeferina R. Hernandez, 88, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2020, in Laredo, Texas.
Mrs. Hernandez was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Margarito and Angelita Reyes.
Her beloved husband, Severo Hernandez.
Sons, Juan Jose Hernandez and Santiago Hernandez.
Sister, Margarita Cordova.
Brothers, Raul Garcia and Manuel Reyes.
Grandson, Cruz Alejandro Gomez.
She is survived by her children, San Juana Gomez, Guadalupe Hernandez, Lorenzo Hernandez, Leticia (Jose) Peña, Jose (Ester) Hernandez, Maria (Joe) King, Ana Hernandez (J. Vasquez), Ofelia (Enrique) Delgado and Jesus Alonso Hernandez.
21 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Sisters, Sara Garcia, Minerva Hernandez and Delfina Hernandez.
Brothers, Federico Reyes and Ausencio Lopez.
Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.
Following the Ordinance by the State of Texas, visitation will be limited to 25 % of capacity inside our funeral home.
It is preferred that minor children not be allowed to attend services.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, May 18, 2020 in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, May 18, 2020. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
