ZULEMA ACEVEDO
March 26, 1926 – August 15, 2016
Zulema Acevedo, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2016, in Laredo, Texas, at the age of 90.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rodolfo M. Acevedo; her parents, Juan and Guadalupe Rodriguez; her sister, Magdalena Hernandez and her aunts, Sister DeLellis Treviño and Consuelo Guevarra.
She is survived by her 5 children, Zulema (Candelario) Romo, Rodolfo M. Acevedo Jr., Oralia (Jorge) Miranda, Leticia (Byron) Almeida and Rogelio (Claudia) Acevedo; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She is also survived by cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the
Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
A Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 10:30 a.m.at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church located at 2219 Galveston, A Holy Mass will follow and celebrated at 11 a.m. Committal Services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
