Obituary

ZULEMA ROSA MATA
Zulema Rosa Mata, 81, passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021.
Mrs. Mata was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Cleofas and Guadalupe Cuellar.
Her beloved husband, Ramiro Guadalupe Mata Sr.
Brothers, Ernesto Cuellar, Humberto Mendoza, Cleofas Cuellar Jr. and Cleofas Cuellar II.
Sisters, Trinidad C. Martinez, Guadalupe C. Esquivel, Maria del Refugio C. Galvan and Tomasita Cuellar.
She is survived by her children, Zulema Rosa (Brigido) Perez IV and Ramiro G. Mata Jr.
Grandchildren, Ramiro G. Mata III, Jovany J. Perez, Giancarlo Perez, Marco Giani Perez, Zulbri Kiana Perez, Laurie Mata, Amy (David) Martinez and Brigido Gerardo Perez.
Brother, Rodolfo Cuellar.
Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at  10:05 a.m. on Saturday, April 24, 2021. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
