MARIA ELVIRA ALVARADO
Maria Elvira Alvarado, 75, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 23, 2017 in Laredo, Texas.
Mrs. Alvarado was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jose Alvarado Jr.
Father, Eugenio Martinez.
Mother, Josefa T. De Los Santos.
She is survived by her children, Maria Leticia Lopez, Jose Alvarado III and Carlos Alberto (Monica) Alvarado.
Grandchildren, Leticia Marie Lopez, Valentin Lopez III, Crystal Ramirez and Andrew J. Alvarado.
Great-grandchildren, Valentine C. Lopez and Violet C. Lopez.
Brothers and sisters, Tomas (Margarita) De Los Santos, Carlos (Patricia) De Los Santos, Gerardo (Felipa+) De Los Santos, Sergio DE Los Santos, Paula (Napoleon)De La Garza, Carmen De Los Santos, Rosa (Jose Manuel) Torres and Nora (Jose) Murillo.
Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 28, 2017, departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow in the Laredo City Cemetery.
