Beatriz Gomez's Obituary
BEATRIZ C. GOMEZ
Beatriz C. Gomez entered into eternal rest on June 17, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was born February 17, 1929. She will be reunited in heaven with her husband Refugio L. Gomez of 56 years of marriage. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother.
Beatriz along with her siblings have been the founders of Chapa Rentals for many years located downtown.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Refugio L. Gomez.
Parents, Agustin and Luz Chapa.
Brother, Adolfo Chapa.
Sisters, Isabel Martinez, Aurora Broussard and Felicidad Chapa.
Daughter-in-law, Julia S. Gomez.
She is survived by her sons, Oscar L. Gomez and Ruben Gomez.
Brother, Agustin Chapa.
Grandchildren, Refugio L. (Raquel) Gomez, Geraldine (Jose) Salas and
Krystal Gomez.
Great-grandchildren, Justin A. Gomez, Jayden A. Gomez, Jose Salas Jr., Zoey B. Salas, Jenna L. Estrada and Jake L. Estrada.
Long time care taker Maria E. Moncivais.
Also surviving her are numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
The Gomez family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to Dr. J.R. Garcia, DNA Home Health, Doctor's Hospital of Laredo and 2nd floor staff of Laredo Specialty Hospital.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
